Your private guide will meet you at your hotel. We deliver rental bikes and helmets directly to your hotel and pick them up after the tour.

 

First of all, you pedal along the Ring Boulevard. One of the most beautiful boulevards in the world is home not only to many of Vienna's best known sights, such as the Imperial Palace, the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Natural History Museum, the Vienna State Opera and Parliament. Magnificent palaces, extensive parks and important monuments also line the "display window" of the former Danube monarchy.

 

You will then pay a visit to the nearby MuseumsQuartier, which accommodates the Museum of Modern Art and the Leopold Museum, and is a meeting spot for young Viennese.

You will discover the World Heritage protected historic center of Vienna. Your guide will lead you through the narrow one way streets and show you world famous sights like St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Graben street with the Plague Column, the church of St. Peter and Jew's Square.

You will visit the Hofburg Palace, which has over 2.600 rooms. It is one of the world's largest building complexes.  Admire the ample wings and courtyards of the Hofburg and see Heroe's Square, the Spanish Riding School, the stables of the Lipizzan horses and the church of St. Augustine. It was there that Franz Joseph married the sixteen-year-old Sisi in 1854.

Your private guided bike tour will end near the Albertina museum. You will see the Sacher Hotel, which is world famous for its Sacher chocolate cake and the Monument against War and Fascism.

This easy bike tour is suitable for most levels and conditions. There are no uphill sections and we use bike paths or one-way streets with minimal traffic. Upon request we are able to provide electronic bikes at a minimal extra charge.
